Anyone with government insurance (Medicaid, Medicare, Tricare etc) should complain to their Dim congressional pol whenever they are personally denied care. We know that government programs deny care at higher rates than the private companies.
I have my patients do this all the time in my office before they leave the office. The elderly and the Medicaid patients know that their programs are being savaged by half a trillion to pay for the expanded government entitlement. An entitlement that will be abused by illegals.

They have no choice but to ration. They’ve removed the free market controls. 47% of doctors that were polled said that they would leave the medical profession if ObamaCare passed. Even of only half of them do, it’s going to create a shortage of doctors. Add to that the fact that they’re adding 30-40 million new insurees that will increase their use of the medical system and they’ve created a serious shortfall. Too few doctors, too many patients.

And President Barack Obama himself said at a rally in Pennsylvania that the real culprits for the rationing of care were health insurance companies: "The insurance companies continue to ration health care. ...

Insurance companies cannot ration health care. They can say what they will pay for under their contract with me or my employer (and sometimes they do cheat), but they cannot forbid me from seaking other care. Government on the other hand can make it illegal for me to seek and for my doctor to give me treatment we both agree is best for me. I'm waiting for back alley chemotherapy by those seeking care made illegal (or at least delayed for months or years) by Obamacare.

For me, I feel the rationing has begun. I went to my Internal Medicine Doctor the other day. I have excellent medical insurance, (PPO) but I pay a hefty price for it too. Plus, my premiums went up $1,200 for next year. Excellent health, until last week when I was told I had a small solid nodule on my kidney. The doctor or radiologist has no idea what it is. I want to get an opinion from a Urologist at Mayo in my area as to what it is, but my Internal Med doc says to wait three months, rescan and see how it looks. My Internal Medical doctor just put his entire office on the online computer patient system, and told me the protocol on the computer for my type of problem says to wait the three months and rescan. I'm thinking what good is it for me to be paying exorbitant premiums, and a very high deductable for a PPO, if eventually all patients regardless of what they have will be directed by a government HMO plan?

As a disabled senior, I can tell you up close and personal what it means to be rationed to death.

I was just informed by my local welfare office that I was no longer qualified for a certain “benefit.” No explanation, except that I “no longer qualify.”

Nothing has changed in the last two years, except that my rent went up while my income stayed the same.

So I’m asking for a hearing to explain to me why I have been singled out for a cessation of benefits. If I didn’t know better, I’d think Harry Reid had a hand in it all....
