Jacqui Smith, a Labour party member of parliament for the Redditch constituency in Worcestershire in west central England and the UK Home Secretary was defeated for re-election by a conservative candidate. Smith, who was the Stalinist-style politician who banned Michael Savage from entering the UK (the Home Secretary oversees the UK Border Agency), lost by about 6,000 votes. She was caught up in a scandal where she used the public purse for money she claimed related to reimbursable expenses related to her official duties, when it turned out to be used in part to purchase porno movies.

Michael Savage must be having the last laugh.
I hope it is a great big belly laugh.
He’s a class act and wouldn’t laugh over it.
But I am sure he has some satification knowing justice was served for the grief they put him through. (It does come around for those who wait)
She deserves utter contempt and several decades in prison for what she did to Michael Savage.
Just on a point of accuracy, she ceased to be Home Secretary more than a year ago. The current incumbent is Alan Johnson.
While she has a pretty name, she sure is not a pretty person. Was she defeated as a result of her vicious attack on Michael Savage? Has the Michael Savage travel ban been lifted? Has Great Britain publicly apologized to Michael Savage? Is Jacqui going to pay restitution to Michael?

One of our Freepers has a tagline that says Judas Iscariot was the first social justice advocate. The scripture reference he gives is of Judas complaining that the ointment used on Jesus could have been sold and the money given to the poor. The scripture goes onto explain that Judas didn’t care about the poor; he was a thief and carried the money bag.
I thought that was appropriate to bring in here. Often the Liberals’ rhetoric for the poor and downtrodden is just a cover for their guilt.
