found in Guerra's car after he was arrested for circling a Midland church and watching children play outside
Evidence continues to mount against Juan Jose Guerra who was arrested last week while watching children play outside a church.
The search warrant affidavit for his car says the trunk safety release handle was covered in black tape.
They also say they found child pornography.
Police also found a pistol in his pants pocket.
On the outside of his car, he had two magnetic stickers hiding bumper stickers.
The Midland Reporter Telegram is reporting that a court official says Guerra had a map tracking the route a 14-year-old girl took from her house to her junior high school and dance studio.

FOUND NUMEROUS ITEMS IN THE BIG SPRING MAN’S VEHICLE THAT RAISED EVEN MORE SUSPICIONS. THOSE ITEMS INCLUDED, A HANDGUN, PIPE, DUCT TAPE, STUN GUN AND MEDICATION NOT PRESCRIBED TO THE SUSPECT. IT ALL ADDED UP TO MATERIALS THAT COULD BE USED FOR AN ABDUCTION AND RAPE, OR WORSE, SAY AUTHORITIES. LAW ENFORCEMENT ALSO EXECUTED A SEARCH WARRANT FOR GUERRA’S BIG SPRING RESIDENCE AND TOOK ITEMS FROM THERE, AND REPORTS INDICATE IMPROPER PHOTOGRAPHS OF CHILDREN ON HIS COMPUTER.
Guerra was arrested in the parking lot near a children’s gymnastics academy, cheer school and dance studio in hte 1500 block of Idelwilde.
Officers say they found duct tape, a taser, gloves, rope, plastic handcuffs, painkillers and a gun in his car.
48-year-old Big Spring petroleum engineer from Colombia arrested with two pistols, a stun gun, duct tape, gloves and plastic handties in his car outside a west Midland childrens dance academy.
Another court official said investigators are checking into the mans past because he had lived in Kansas, California and other states before coming to Big Spring. He said officers had ascertained that Guerra is a petroleum engineer and native of Colombia, South America.
According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Reporter-Telegram, MPD Detective Bill Anderson wrote that officers located a rape kit or kidnapping kit consisting of the following: a condom, Astroglide lube, Viagra, a stun gun, duct tape, two handguns, several pairs of gloves and zip ties connected to make flex cuffs.
Several gags made out of a sock covered with duct tape wrapped around a bungee cord with hooks that could be placed and secured around a persons head and mouth along with maps of Midland, local city parks and a list of addresses where children are often found were also located in the kit.
Authorities said that Guerra originally told them that he uses the items for shooting.
Stopped in his silver 2005 Toyota Camry, which is a central piece of the investigation, Guerra was arrested on charges of unlawfully carrying a weapon, unlawful use of criminal instruments, possession and promotion of child pornography and possession of a dangerous drug, the painkiller * Ketorolac.
Investigators stated in the affidavit that the Camry has a sticker of the Spanish flag on the left side of the trunk area and an American flag sticker on the right rear side of the trunk. But, when stopped, Guerra had two homemade magnets in the same color as the vehicle covering the stickers to make his car much less distinctive.
During an interview with authorities, Anderson wrote, Guerra said he had two computers at his Big Spring residence and admitted to using them to view pornography.
Guerra also told investigators he had been online at craigslist.com and looking to get a date with girls through advertisements of who were selling sex.
* ketorolac (Toradol), a medication used for treatment of moderate to severe acute pain

If he’s married, the wife must look like Janet Reno.
But Officer, I just bought this car on Craigslist. The seller was a guy named Frank. Barney Frank....
Ah, his ticket out of this mess!
Arizona! Arizona! Arizona! /s
Now he'll be subject to exploratory drilling...with a shiv.
Or hopefully worse.
Someone should “accidently” off this guy.
... and the left nods sagely: "at least he was being safe." /s
