I'm sorry for the vanity...and all of the topics it's posted in...but not really. ;o) I searched for this particular topic, and couldn't find it.

John Rich has donated a song written and recorded yesterday to benefit the folks in the Nashville area. He's giving the song download away...free..., but asks that you click the link to donate.

We have many Tennessee FReepers here, and some in Nashville who could use oould use your help.

I hope those of you who are able to will join me.

It’s a wonder why John Rich and Kenny Chesney are speaking out and helping the folks of the flooded areas and 0bama hasn’t even mentioned the floods as he should. Has he even visited?

it’s politics

Nashville proper is very blue but TN is quite red

no upside for him

same reason media never mentioned Miss Gulf coast much even though destruction was worse

One of the local channels had a news tease w/Brad Paisley - showed a clip of his flood-ruined guitar. He said the president called him and asked “How’s my Opry?” WTF??!! I didn’t even tune in to see the rest of the story - it made me gag!
