WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 5, 2010) While another beautiful spring is in full bloom throughout the Fourth District, many of our neighbors who serve in the armed forces continue to fight for our freedoms both at home and overseas. Enduring many personal hardships and sacrifices, our warfighters and the loved ones they leave behind continue to do their best to get the job done. Yet often times, their sacrifices go unnoticed by the general public. So, to publicly recognize and honor those fighting for our freedoms, Congress designated the month of May as National Military Appreciation Month. The Department of Defense maintains a list of some organizations that will deliver messages and packages to service personnel, and also has a list of many different types of support organizations. Canteen Ping?
I know I will never vote for him again. He would have voted yes on the the healthcare bill (as he did on cap and trade) if the dems had needed his vote.
Sorry, should have removed your name from the ping box.
That was a request for Kathy to ping the regular FReepers in the FR Canteen (a daily troop support thread).
