A proposal to build a Cathedral steps from the kaaba received the support of a Saudi downtown committee despite some Arab terrorists finding it offensive.

The 16-story Cathedral and Catholic cultural center was unanimously endorsed by the 12-member Saudi Mecca Community Board and its financial district committee.

The $500 million project, called the Saint Joan of Arc Cathedral, is proposed for the old Mecca Pork Sausage Factory building at the corner of Muslima Pork Place and Scantily-Clad Broads` Way, just two blocks from the famous 2,000 Deaths Stampede Bridge site.

“I think it will be a wonderful asset to the community,” said committee Chairman Abi Bin Taken Forride Hissin`
