SAN BERNARDINO, Calif.
(Excerpt) Read more at news.yahoo.com ...
Kids, don’t try this at home.
Wait.... what?
Maybe its the terminology.
Saying its okay that someone who walked into the middle of a shootout got hit and its not the cops fault should probably not use the term “justified”.
Well then the family of the bystander will also be legally justified when they hunt this incompetent idiot down and whack him.
A badge covers a multitude of sins, cold blooded murder included.
Gotta love that headline. The media in this country is a disgrace!
Bad idea when a cop yells “show your hands”. Its a good idea to show them.
Evidentially... because failure to do so is punishable by summary execution!
A direct comparison - - my what a difference it makes when the shooter is wearing a badge!!
PORT ORCHARD, Wash. - A 72-year-old man who says he shot an intruder he caught rummaging in his home has been arrested for investigation of first-degree manslaughter, police said.
The incident unfolded early Saturday at a Port Orchard-area apartment complex in the 1900 block of SE Larch Lane, said Scott Wilson, spokesman for the Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a report of shots fired at about 3:35 a.m. during an alleged burglary at the 72-year-old man’s apartment unit, Wilson said.
The man told deputies that he was awakened by a noise inside of his apartment, so he armed himself with a handgun and left his bedroom to investigate.
His name is "Claudia".
CPD chalks one up to collateral damage.
Balandran was leaving a McDonald's and walked into a gunbattle between officers and two robbery suspects.
The report released Friday says Balandran was wearing the same color shirt as the suspects and came from the same direction as the shots.
The report says Lisner asked Balandran to show his hands, but he did not. Lisner kept hearing shots and feared for her life, and she shot him in the chest.
An attorney for Balandran's family calls the report a "whitewash."

** The innocent person didn't raise he hands because he didn't do anything wrong.
** Mr. Balandran was totally surprised by the females officers sudden demand...
** Since Mr. Balandran did not immediately comply with the sudden commands Officer Ms. Claudia Lisner shot the UNARMED innocent victim to death....
I wonder if this is what an old boss of mine
who was a reserve deputy sheriff meant when
he used to joke about ‘firing warning shots
into the crowd’? Not really very funning here.
The word “justified” sticks in your throat in
this instance.
Whatever.

Its the American Apartheid Criminal Justice System, its alive and well...
I'm just trying to get your facts straight, eh?
Man, woman, I don’t care. She shot an innocent man to death for not moving fast enough to suit her. I hope she gets paid back in spades.
I used to defend cops in San Bernardino Co. when they were sued civilly. You don’t know what you are talking about.
If you were to be a cop, I can assure you would not be alive when the shooting stopped.
Trust me.
The comments to the article are truly evil. Many commenters feel that these people shouldn’t have had any more children, overpopulation, us kids consume more and third world kids do without, etc. One of the mothers had a deaf daughter and said that she was considering cochleal implants; several commenters felt that they should let the child be deaf and learn ASL. Evil, evil people.
