As House Democrats try to stall, several states are moving against illegal aliens: We’ve had enough
The Collins Report ^ | May 10, 2010 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

While Arizona’s new law to control illegal aliens is getting plenty of attention it’s not the only signal that we have had enough and America’s adults are retaking control of our state governments.

In South Carolina both Houses have overridden their governor’s veto of a law allowing police to forego warrants to search those on parole or probation.

A new Oklahoma law prohibits the state from “sharing information about hate crimes with federal authorities if the state of Oklahoma did not recognize the crime as a hate crime by its own statutes.”

Minnesota Republicans introduced an amendment requiring a 2/3 majority vote in the state legislature to approve of any federal law before it can be applied to Minnesotans.

A Republican New York State Senator has introduced a bill that would poll the people of the Empire State as to whether they want to see New York separate into two states.

South Dakota’s House has passed a resolution “urging” public schools to teach global warming as a “scientific theory rather than a proven fact..” It went on to urge the inclusion of astrological factors as well.

A Utah State Senator wants his State to honor native son John Moses Browning, founder of the Browning Arms Company on the same day as Martin Luther King’s birthday is celebrated.

In just April alone: Louisiana has passed a law preventing insurance companies doing business in the state from paying for most abortions; Nebraska has passed a law against abortions beyond the 20th week of a pregnancy; and Virginia is considering an amendment that withholds “state money for abortions, including cases in which the health of the mother is at risk or the child might be born with a deformity.”

Additionally these states are looking at Arizona like anti illegal control alien laws:

The steam behind moving America to the right is building and it will not be stopped unless we let up.

We’ve got a legislator here in Michigan who also plans to introduce a similar bill.

Seems to me that the key to regaining control of our federal government is in our state capitols.

So if my idiot cousin misses a mtg, the police can enter my home and poke around any time they feel like it, without a warrant??? (kick in my door, shoot my dog?)

We just need 4 states to control their borders Texas, California, New Mexico and Arizona. Throw in a few others to the North like Oklahoma, Nevada, Utah and Colorado and we can solve this problem without the Federal government.

Oklahoma and Arizona are definitely doing their part, just a few more states are needed.

Unfortunately California is a basket case and they will not help in anyway, but if states surrounding California enact strict immigration laws then the California problem can be solved and they can fall into being a third world hellhole all by their selves.

In New York, a legislator has introduced a bill making it illegal for a sitting President to invade any of the 57 states. Also gives powers to the New York governor to declare war on said sitting President and use the New York National Guard to apprehend same on sight for deportation to Mexico or pinata punishment or both.

Absolutely correct. You have to start with the control of the states, one by one, if you ever want to control the Federal Government.

The birthday of John Moses Browning should be a national holiday. That man did more to assure peace and freedom in America and the world than any other single individual I can think of.

It requires people to take an honest look at their state legislatures as well. I know the bill won’t pass here in Michigan because we have several SEIU owned republicans but I am happy to see that at least Kim Meltzer wants to try.

California is already a huge hell hole and Mexicans up the XXX. Sometimes can't sleep night with all the noise. Last week a bunch of rioting students took down the American flag at their school and raised the Mexican flag. Some fun. Anti-Americans.

Admittedly, I did not click the link and read the entire article. However, the laws listed in the first part of the article don’t have anything to do with controlling illegal immigration. Also, I would think those who support liberty would have a problem with warrantless searches (SC law).

Was this reported on? Can you give a link?
I'm not doubting you, but someone posted a picture on a FR thread a couple of days ago showing students doing this, but the picture was actually a few years old.
The person posting thought all the freepers should automatically know when the picture was taken, because it created such a stir on FR at the time.
