Likud activist Moshe Feiglin demanded that the party conduct a revote on its decision 10 days ago that he lost to Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu, after the US State Department revealed on Sunday night that the government had pledged not to build in Jerusalems Ramat Shlomo neighborhood for two years.
Netanyahu easily defeated Feiglins loyalists in a vote of Likud central committee members that postponed elections for all the partys institutions. Netanyahu turned the vote into a battle between him and Feiglin, while Feiglin painted it as a fight over the future of Jerusalem.

Boama is an amateur. Netanyahu will win the wars and defend Israel. Boama wants to defeat democracy for us and destroy Israel.

Now what exactly did Bibi do wrong here? Told the Likud faithful that they would not halt construction in Jerusalem, then makes a deal to put a moratorium on Ramot Shlomo construction.
He is going to make a deal. Nobody will like it. Mark my words.

I seem to remember when the Biden, Israel thing exploded I read someone said they couldn't understand all the brouhaha because the construction of houses was not to start for three years.
In was in an article posted here but I doubt I can find it now.

You’re right, it was pretty widely reported. In fact the approval that so offended the administration was the third approval for the project, they’d known about it since taking office. Palestinian/Obama nonsense.
