There he goes again.
Ronald Reagan, 40th president of the United States, is expected to "three-peat" as the subject of a U.S. commemorative postage stamp on the occasion of his birth's centennial next year.
The Web site of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation & Library lists the issuance of a U.S. Postal Service commemorative stamp among the planned events for the Reagan Centennial Celebration.
"The Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation is planning a series of exciting events, programs and initiatives to celebrate this historic moment including . . . [a] Commemorative postage stamp," the site says.
Grover Norquist, president of Americans for Tax Reform and a Reagan aficionado who has led a campaign for nationwide public commemorations of the 40th president, doesn't doubt the stamp will appear.
"If the Reagan Library has it, they've been told," he told The Washington Times.
The Reagan birth-centennial stamp was reported in the May 24 issue of Linn's Stamp News, which bills itself as the "world's largest weekly stamp" newspaper. Linn's also noted the mention of the stamp by U.S. News & World Report "Washington Whispers" columnist Paul Bedard. Linn's writer Jay Bigalke told The Times he has received independent confirmation of the stamp from within the Postal Service.

If the Dems are still in charge of Congress in 2011, I hope it’s a picture of Reagan either (1) weeping, or (2) a picture from the “tear down this wall” speech...
More Reagan is always a good thing.
There’s a weekly newspaper devoted to stamps?
Yeah, at Linns.com .
The great thing about it? It's only distributed electronically - mail and postage is apparently far too slow and expensive!!
Reagan must be looking down in utter disgust right now; weeping is the least of it.
I’d like to see Ron on the $10 bill, or a one or two dollar coin.
c - o - v - e - r
I'd rather see him on the $20 bill, to replace the racist Democrat SOB Andrew Jackson.
“Id like to see Ron on the $10 bill, or a one or two dollar coin. “
On a two dollar bill would make a really cool collectors item.
Reagan’s picture should be on a special commemorative FedEx Overnight Air Envelope. (he deserves to be on something that actually arrives where it’s going on time...)
I think it would go something like this:
Proof positive that the Post Office is going to go under is when Democrats are willing to put Reagan on a stamp.
I bought a pack of these and never opened it. Couldn't bear to use them for anything mundane like paying bills.
My dad is stamp collector he like that
Id like to see Ron on the $10 bill, or a one or two dollar coin.
I would like to see him on the $1 dollar bill. More people would see it and if Obama is President for another four years no one will remember what a Twenty looks like.
