TEL AVIV -- Israel has developed the advanced air refueling systems that could facilitate a strike on Iran.
The officials also said the development overcame several years of refusals by Washington to supply the systems required for the 1,000 kilometer flight from Israel to Iran.
Officials said the Israel Air Force has overseen the development and deployment of air refueling systems for its U.S.-origin fighter-jet fleet.

Yeah, or we could invent it our own selves.
The USA uses all sorts of Israeli tech. I personally worked for an Israeli defense contractor training USAF pilots to utilize our ground targeting pods.
Most of the USA drone fleet is based on Israeli tech.
The heads up displays on the F-22, Israeli.
Lots of joint anti-missle stuff.
Yup, The Israelis just couldn't have done it on their own...like , you just never see a Jew picking up a Nobel prize do you. :-) /sarcasm
I don’t know. The christians have done a pretty good job killing for Christ.
I think we should live in a world where you respect my opinion of a creator, as I respect yours. That means we can agree to disagree. Without killing each other. I won’t try to convert you, nor you me.
Someone smarter than I, once pointed out, very well.... That if radical Islam (Hamas, Hezz-b, AQ, etc) put down their weapons...there would be peace in the Middle East over night....If Israel put down their weapons...there would be genocide... With that said, Israel is not striking Iran without U.S. direct support....unless it goes nuclear.
I suspect that they are very quietly getting a lot of help from very unlikely sources, such as the Saudis and the Emirates. The Persian Shiite Bomb is a much greater nightmare to them than a Delaware-sized state full of Jews.
Yeah, you just go tell the mullahs and ayatollahs that ... let me know how it works out for you.
If it weren't for the partial success of the Crusades, you and I wouldn't be here to whine about the misdeeds of some of the crusaders. Humanity would be under the boot of the mohammedans.
Ha! Take that!!!
Good point. I was just wondering, whatever became of all of the F-117 Nighthawks when the USAF took them out of active service? Are they all ah, er, “accounted for” so to speak.
Manhattan Project people at wiki. Interesting bunch ... there's even a Sikh in there.
Yeah. I can.
Hi, hennie-pennie. Miss you on the TM thread. A LOT.
You are soooo under estimating Israel's technical capabilities.
“Yeah, or we could invent it our own selves.”
I’m quite amazed at the technical ability of the Israelis, simply because the talent pool (population-wise) is so small. The israeli population is only 7.5 million, and some among this population (israeli arabs) do not even contribute to israeli defense. How does tiny Israel come up with enough engineers and scientists to pull off all of their technical wizardry?
Then tell me, why have there been so many Israeli spies found here over the years?
The crap that is being spewed on this thread makes me uncomfortable.
Shall we all just assume that every jew is a doctor, scientist or banker?
Or should we pretend that the Christian religion is free from any torture, war, or senseless killing over the past couple of millennium.
I think that taking up arms over a belief in an afterlife is just stupid.
I am not suggesting that the mullahs get that. But I do suggest that those around here that march around preaching about how great Christians are sound just as fanatical as those A-holes in Riyadh or Teheran.
An old Israeli professor who had been part of the OFEK project said it very well after they demonstrated an amazing miniaturization of satellite technology. He said because Israel is so small, they have become the masters of small.
Israel does everything as if their very survival depends on it...because it does.
