The bill sets up two new supersnooping federal agencies to collect data on ordinary Americans: •The Office of Financial Research. This supposedly would predict risk in the system by collecting massive amounts of new financial data, such as patterns of credit card use. •The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. It would collect data, especially on consumer transactions. The data are supposed to be "scrubbed" of individual identifiers, so your privacy would be protected. But that might not work, Mark Calabria told us; the director of financial regulation studies at the Cato Institute formerly was a member of the senior professional staff of the U.S. Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs. "If you can link the data to courthouse records of housing sales," he said, then anyone can find data on others. "Much of this goes beyond what banks do now" to keep data. Under the new law, the government would detail "your charges at Macy's and car payments. It would be fairly detailed information."

The refusal of The System to conform to world standards regarding immigration and control of visitors gives them the premise to clamp down on us all.
Immigration chaos permits dictatorship.
We are to be sacrificed on the altar of diversity and fairness.
Perhaps a question here...because no one is reading 2,000 pages...what keeps a hacker from getting into the House or Senate system and substituting their own 50-page manifesto in the midst of this, and get them to vote it in?
I mean, we already know the Chinese can hack into virtually any network in the US...so why not add layers and layers of nonsense into the 2,000 pages?
Or...how about putting something useful in it?
Every Federal law passed since January 2009 needs to be repealed. Every stinking one. The first thing a new Republican House and Senate needs to do is get a comprehensive record of all Federal legislation passed since 1/1/2009 and draft a one line bill that says, “All Bills enacted by the United States House and Senate after January 1, 2009 are hereby summarily rescinded and all associated provisions declared null and void.”
