The only thing worse than the Bush-soc-liberalism was the disgusting emperor worship he and Laura received here in FR.

The daily thread was overdone. The second term exposed Pres. Bush for the rino he was.

RE: black board, white boards, and whatever blackberries are

I prefer a vacant wall or two or more, large post-its, static cling sheets, black thread to connect the parts; nothing better to literally walk-through a complicated system/project. It helps to have a six- or eight-foot roll of paper to unroll as you go and write on.

I recall reading that Admiral Hyman Rickover the Father of the Nuclear Navy needed the floor of a airplane hangar to define the Nautilus project.

Blackberries are what the “movers and shakers” in a company get for communications. I think the capo di tuti capos get Ipods or something similar.

When the podcast becomes available later, play back the first hour and maybe it will be clearer.

I’m in as much suspense as you. It can go either way, or it may NOT be clearer. I don’t know. What do you remember hearing?

Bush is no longer the President, so out of due respect shouldn't there now be threads

A day in the Life of President Obama (with pics too)

What, is FR racist or something?

I heard what dynachrome heard; to wit, "he [Savage] said ‘he will never work on this show again' but I missed who exactly."

If I don't need my computer for seceral hours I can download the show, I have dial-up. I prefer accepting that no name was mentioned, but Kuhner did write a column using the phrase as the title -- if the "destroyer" phrase was indeed what Savage meant. I wasn't paying that much attention to the show at the time.

I have explained in the past why I am such a stickler when it comes to clever phrase, puns, and portmanteau words. Levin goes even farther! He accuses "backbenchers" of stealing whole shows! Borrrring.

I’ve been attempting to make a clearer distinction between RINO and Statist. GWB always exhibited elements of Statism, from compassionate conservatism of a variety unlike what the Doc meant when he began using the term, to his signing of McCain-Feingold, to his placing self-funding charities onto the Fed teet and making them dependent on not crossing those in power. All that was in his first term. He was better than Gore and Kerry only in that both those jerks were openly collectivist.

You know, I don’t recall the Doc ever using the word Statist, or ever attempting to make it clear that a Statist could easily feel at home in a party with the name Republican. The clue in to be found in what sort of republic said publican favors. Some form of Platonic republic (run by elites and thus craving bigger govt with them in power) or our American constitutional republic most of us at FR are attempting to defend and preserve.

I’ve heard it said that GWB once referred to the Constitution as “merely a piece of paper.” If that is so, he is no simple RINO. He would be very much a republican, just not a constitutional one. Statists easily look very much like conservatives, and with our lack of good media, it’s far easier for Statists to constantly keep their mask on.

Never mind Laura, fortunately she has no political ambition.

As a Californian Savage should be talking about who he is supporting for Gov. and Senator.

'received'?

More at 'receive'. The bushbots are still here. Just look at the number of 'miss me yet' threads and images. I have rounds with them frequently. And they hate being called bushbots -- so I use the term wherever possible. :)
