Government schools **are** socialism! They were socialism from the very first day! This can NOT be fixed!
Simply by attending children become comfortable with the government taking money from their neighbor to pay for a service that the parents want for tuition-free. Well...If the government can take money from a neighbor to pay for a service their parents want for free, why not a thousand other socialist wants? ( Is a "duh" necessary?) It is EVIL to teach children to be socialists.
All government schools are a First Amendment abomination and freedom of conscience abomination! They trample every first Amendment Right! This can not be fixed.

It discourages me when I see conservatives posting that if they closed the Department of Education, got rid of the NEA, elected conservatives to the school board, brought back a sprinkle of prayer and scripture during the homeroom class, got back to basics, return to the 1960s, 50s, 40s...ad nauseum!

Complex in Los Angeles... in this video, railing against the police as "apes of repression", calls L.A. the "occupied territories of Mexico" and says he "represents" a "Mexican revolutionary organi...zation"... This 2007 video adds to the prior footage of Gochez' racist, anti-Semitic and seditious rantings. If Gochez had been a Caucasian teacher who called for a white uprising against the U.S. government, disparaged minorities, and launched an anti-Semitic diatribe against the media, there is little doubt he would have been dismissed within 3 days, let alone the 3 years that Cochez has remained on the job since his shocking words were made public.
