Link only - Djou calls Hawaii special election race 'pretty much over'
The state Office of Elections said 38 percent of the 317,000 eligible voters have voted. In previous all-mail special elections for Honolulu City Council, the bulk of votes were cast shortly after the ballots were mailed out.

A Republican win in Hawaii will be especially delicious.
He could at least wait until the votes are counted.
Almost as sweet as Republican Scott Brown taking the seat occupied for decades by the drunkard Ted Kennedy.
His words were taken out of context. He meant that most of the votes were already cast since it was mail-out and they’d already gotten back a good share of the ballots.
No way would Djou make an arrogant statement like this...this makes me think this is designed to create a last-minute backlash.
Bottom line: Djou will hopefully win, regardless of outside attacks/disinfo.
At the risk of sounding like an a@@, maybe YOU could as well. The election is not over, and you need to consider the source of this article.
“Mathematically, it becomes next to impossible (for Democrats) to win this race unless you stuff the ballot box,” said the Republican, who is leading his two Democratic rivals
Stuff a boallot box-never not Acorn I mean Democrats
Old Hawaiian saying: Don’t count your Moas before they hatch.
NEVER assume it's over. Ever. Libs are masters of the late hit, i.e., late-breaking revelations about corruption or some personal indiscretion. It doesn't matter if the revelation is true, in today's America it's the seriousness of the charge that counts, especially when the one charged is a Republican.
A Republican winning in Hawaii is as rare as an Eskimo in the Sahara.
Don’t call it over—EVER. Hussein and the ‘rats are fraud specialists.
I heard Djou on the Mark Levin show. He seemed really excited to be in the race and was saying that they weren’t going to give up encouraging voters to return their ballots until the deadline. In addition, there are two Democrats running against Djou, so that’s good because whoever gets the most votes wins.
A lot of good the Republican gov of Hawaii has done for us.
