Scientists tag animals to monitor their behavior and keep track of endangered species. Now some futurists are asking whether all of mankind should be tagged too. Looking for a loved one? Just Google his microchip.
The chips, called radio frequency identification (RFID) tags, emit a simple radio signal akin to a bar code, anywhere, anytime. Futurists say they can be easily implanted under the skin on a persons arm.
Already, the government of Mexico has surgically implanted the chips, the size of a grain of rice, in the upper arms of staff at the attorney generals office in Mexico City. The chips contain codes that, when read by scanners, allow access to a secure building, and prevent trespassing by drug lords.

This one report alone shows us how Jesus Christ is the true Lord and God and that His Words are all coming to pass.
what’s the point? just google their cell phone location.
Sadly .. the non-Christian world will still ridicule the Christian as they get their tattoo
I’m gonna blow your mind...
in the hand or on the head, isn’t that what the book says?
where is your cell phone?
in your hand?
pressed up to your head?
or do you use a blue tooth version that attaches to your ear?
Hmmmmmm
I have no idea what you’re talking about ... song lyrics?
revelations says the mark will be in the hand or on the head.
revelations plural...there’s more than one.
A condition of alien entry into the U.S.
Only one Jesus Christ and the book is titled “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” in my KJV.
I didn’t capitalize it. I am grammatically correct.

"Tech enthusiasts and futurists think implantable radio chips, such as those embedded in Amal Graafstra's hands, could mean safety, security and convenience. But civil libertarians are concerned about privacy."
It IS coming. Something to keep in mind.
Revelation 14:9-13 (King James Version)
9And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
10The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.
13And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
Jesus DID NOT say anything about this. Your comment is misleading.
The reference to the mark of the beast is in Revelation, as you correctly stated.
“Head or hand” could mean it’s in our thoughts or in our deeds, too.
As for a chip, if it weren’t very expensive and had no contraindications, I’d be tempted to put one in my kids, for some peace of mind about child predators.
I know the odds are low but it would be reassuring.
And I am a Bible believing Christian.
Thay can implant a chip in me after I’m dead. Pretty sure I won’t be moving around much though...
Try to implant one before that? Well, maybe I shouldn’t have brought that part about me being dead...
But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of ones own interpretation, 21for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. (2 Peter 1:21)
So, unless you are prepared to deny that 1. Jesus is God and 2. the verse above is untrue, then all prophecy, including the Book of Revelation, was written by God.
Second of all, Jesus tells us that the Book of Revelation was given by God to Jesus Christ (who are one as we're told by Jesus in His Scripture), to be handed down to His servants:
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John: Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. (Revelation 1:1-3)
So, while we are told by God that not only did He write all Scripture, including prophecy, we are told that the Book of Revelation is the Revelation of Jesus.
If you're prepared to deny that God (Jesus) wrote prophecy, including Revelation, and if you're prepared to deny that Jesus is God, then you have yourself convinced that Jesus said nothing about a future Antichrist who will force everyone on earth to take a mark in their hand or forehead.
Now I don't know who you think wrote that, since a man writing this book in the first century as the Apostle John did could have absolutely no concept of a time that would come when man would have the technology to number every person on the face of the earth, so the Book of Revelation definitely did not come from the mind of John, but I'm going to go with what God said about the matter and take Him at His word when He says that Revelation is from Jesus Christ.
I am not saying that Revelation is wrong. I was simply stating that Jesus himself did not say this.
Thank you for your explanation!
