Mitch is a tool.

I knew who needed to win as soon as he endorsed Grayson.

Unofficial = CYA for implying that you represent a group you do NOT represent.

I have been to several Tea Parties. The people there represent a wide range of viewpoints, from staunch libertarians to staunch social conservatives, from Palin Haters to Palin supporters, and I find it just as annoying for the Right to misrepresent the truly grass roots tea party as I do for the Left.

We ALREADY HAD the biggest wins with Brown voted in and Crist being forced OUT.

This is just kook paul puffery.

Mitch has a tight grip on GOP politics in KY. Trey was his hand picked choice. Now to see if this weakens him as leader.

Understood.

It wasn’t my list, just an example of a list.

I’m just sick of the RINO establishment. You’re conservative or your not my candidate.

This will be the second Senate primary for the Tea Party.

We can have wins without fielding candidates.

““If we win Tuesday, it will be the biggest victory for a Tea Party candidate...”

I was unaware the Tea Party had candidates? I thought we endorsed candidates, but are there now official Tea Party candidates, or is this someone’s spin?”

SPIN!

It was an odd headline, and odder still that it was/is a statement from the candidate himself.

McConnell kept the GOP together on some EXTREMELY important votes.

He deserves some high praise for that IMO.

Somehow the praise is dampened by the fact that they were losing votes

A few votes lost early on in the stimulus bill...shortly after Zero was sworn in.

McConnell has kept the GOP in remarkable lock-step since then. No small task.

It would be worth a Paul nomination just to get a photo of the look on Mitch McC’s face, kind of like Jacob Koppel Javits looked in 1964 with the Goldwater nomination. And while Goldwater had endorsed Javits in 1962, the crusty old New Yorker refused to do the same in 1964.

Yes, but he really didn’t want to hold the troops in line. He is sympathetic on occasion with the Democrats.

The more “status quo” incumbents that get kicked to the curb the better, IMHO!

And that goes for both parties! Especially Arlen Specter!!!

Wrong. Rand Paul has been endorsed by the Kentucky Tea Party. In fact, he is and was a Tea Party member from the start. He has also been endorsed by Sarah Palin, Steve Forbes, Dr. James Dobson, Sen. Jim Bunning (Whom Dr. Paul will replace), N. Kentucky Right to Life, and Gunowners of America. Gunowners of America has proclaimed Paul as the most pro-gun candidate running for the US Senate.

Establishment RINOS here in KY hate his guts, because they are next to go. Mine is the most Republican county in KY and Dr. Paul will carry it by probably 80%.
