....Dan Nowicki

Wasn't that the name of the protagonist in the Transformer's movies? Or was that Witwicki?

We should all probably use the word “courage” or “guts” rather than “balls.” It’s vulgar.

I figure that the Senate is such a cush club they can NEVER face the notion of being just another schmoe old person who’s rear end people don’t have to kiss. From there it’s just another step to the nursing home. I mean, look at snarlin arlen, he’s 80 for Gawds sake.

the top two staffers in McCain's Senate re-election effort — campaign manager Shiree Verdone and her deputy, Mike Hellon — have decamped. The two will work for the Arizona Republican Party, overseeing strategy for a "victory" fundraising effort for statewide candidates, including McCain.

It sounds to me like these two staffers have been promoted and are now going to be working for McCain from within the Arizona Republican Party.

I suspect by June he and Arlen Specter will be teaming-up to launch their new Geriatric Moderate Party....

I voted for McCain for president. I didn’t have any choice, but I wish just once he had shown the spirit shown by NJ Gov, Chris Christy in that news conference. McCain was like a spineless jellyfish telling us over and over again how decent Obama was. Obama wasn’t decent. No decent man loathes his own country, apologizes constantly for it, and unwittingly tries to destroy it. I would be hard pressed to ever vote for McCain again. Sometimes you can be too easy going and civil, especially when your opponent is going for the jugular.

Here’s a VERY scary thought: what if McCain decides to pull a “Crist” and run as an independent? On second thought, I think us Arizonans see him for who and what he represents, but it is the closeness of the race that has me worried.

The time for that classy move was long ago. He didn’t do it. Instead, he roped Palin into supporting him. He could’ve spared her that and chose not to. McCain is all about himself. Like you, I don’t hate him, but that he’s staying in this race makes me like him less than I ever did. And I’ve never had any use for Senator McCain.

That sounds like an idea born in the mind of Meghan McCain.

Replace the candidate not the committee.

agreed.

The committees of many state parties can be quickly retooled&rebuilt to stay more attuned to an American agenda, rather than pursuing a EUroWorldly one.. if they just drink the ‘TEA’.

I just finished pushing my "JD Hayworth for Senate" sign into my front yard. It better not disappear.

I am no expert on AZ but McCain is pretty powerful in the state. Thank goodness for Jan Brewer. I am so sick of open-borders RINOs. Open-borders are bankrupting or have bankrupted America and especially California.

The public is so manipulated by TV.

McCain shakes up campaign staff as Arizona race tightens

What did he do, dump some cheap illegal aliens, er ... undocumented workers, from his phone bank staff?

He should bus down some of the northeastern dems that put him back in the game in the NH primary in ‘08

Amen, and bring Lindsey Graham with them.. That would go over big in AZ. Which reminds me, we should give Mc a break. In '08 he was sucking up to moderates in all states. Now, he is only sucking up the absent-minded folks in AZ. See?? He is flexible!
