If Hayworth pull it off and spare us from 6 more years of McCain; it will be a hoot to watch the dim witted Megan McCains progressive rants. She’s not good for much, but she is useful for a good side splitting laugh every once and a while.

Like I’d said on another thread, I don’t hate McCain... it’s just time for him to go. He’s old and clearly worn out; he should do the honorable thing and hand the nom to J.D. It’s a difficult time for his state and the country, and AZ needs more dynamic and certain representation in the Senate, and J.D. Hayworth can bring those qualities to the fight.
John, let it go, because your time is long past. Hand off to J.D. and retire to Sedona.

I think Jan Brewer inadvertently cut John's legs out from under him. When a woman Governor has more balls to do the right thing than a sitting Senator, it just shows what a political hack McCain really is.

Anyone have recent poll numbers?

It almost seems like a political tradition: the great John McCain campaign-staff shake-up. As the Arizona Republic's Dan Nowicki first reported Sunday, the top two staffers in McCain's Senate re-election effort campaign manager Shiree Verdone and her deputy, Mike Hellon have decamped. The two will work for the Arizona Republican Party, overseeing strategy for a "victory" fundraising effort for statewide candidates, including McCain... HUH???
This is spin!!!
McCain hasn't shaken up his campaign...his campaign has TAKEN OVER THE ARIZONA REPUB PARTY.
Hello!?!?!?
Look out JD!!!

I agree. McCain MUST be defeated and by a landslide would be ever so sweet!
GO JD!

You know there are some benefits to defeating the RINOs.
1) It sends a clear statement that they are NOT the mainstream of our party.
2) It gives momentum to the true conservatives in the party to win high level party positions.
3) They may switch parties and help water down the rats. So they may help pull the rat party to the right somewhat, while the republican’s move to the right. The net of that will be both parties moving to the right.

Rush said about the same thing on today’s show, after playing Brewer’s statement. He used the word “courage” instead of “balls”, and didn’t call out McCain specifically, but... you know.

From Hayworth’s perspective, I’d want the same crowd who ran McCains Presidential bid running McCain’s Senate re-election bid. Bunch of losers. After all that Sarah brought to that ticket, and they still managed to get Obama elected.

These old Senators, like Juan, don’t want to retire because being in the Senate is a much sweeter deal than retirement even with the super golden parachute they made for themselves.
It’ll take introducing them to Tony LLama to get them to go away.

Some things will never be understood. Among those is the attraction of AZ primary and general election voters for one John McPain. It must be like the old Stockholm syndrome in reverse or something.
To: NormsRevenge
So he is blaming his staff for his corrupt, hateful, flip flopping campaign. Lot of good that’ll do.
McBozo is a done deal!

Once McCain gets to the general, he basks in the adoration of indy’s and Democrats. That's who elects him. I haven't voted for the traitor since 1992.
