Here’s hoping for a Specter loss. I want this man out of politics. Of course, then again, he could go independent..........

Not allowed in PA. If you lose a primary, you can't run in the general as an independent. It's called a "sore loser" rule.

There was a call on Rush today about exactly what you did. A Dem who is sick of everything voted for Specter because he polls so poorly against Toomey. As much as I had that SOB and our own turncoat Crist here in FL, I think you made a wise move.

That's interesting. I don't know how Toomey does in a race against Sestak, but I figured everyone wanted to see Specter gone now as opposed to later.

Do you possess any information that shows Toomey would lose against Sestak?

I spent from 11 to 8 at our poll in Upper Dublin Township in Montgomery County. We closed at 8 with a total of 237 voters. Registered voters in my voting precinct total 973, giving us 24% turnout. If I drop the 149 voters in the Independent/unaffiliated/Green/Libertarian groups, we have 824 D+R voters, making turnout more like 29%. That's not bad for a primary on a cold rainy day. I don't have the D:R breakdown for the end of the day, but it was almost exactly even at the 100 voter point, and seemed to be pretty balanced through the day. Dems have a registration advantage in our precinct (I don't have the number at hand), so R percentage turnout may be higher today.

We have a contested primary for the 13th Congressional district to take on Allyson Schwartz in November. It will be interesting to see the outcome.

So far, with only .75% of the districts in (69 out 9,235) Specter is ahead 59.7% to 40.3% over Sestak. Does anyone think that will continue?

With 10 percent in it’s 50-50 between Sestak & Specter.

Regarding 12th Dist, results trickling in from Greene County, an ultra-Dem stronghold, as Critz up 55-42.

Where are you getting your results? Nothing is showing up for District 4 or 12 on the State or Westmorland sites. Thanks.
