Where are you seeing 50% reporting? I’m at the PA Sec’y of State website and they’re at 12.25% as of 9:10.
I’m at this website, but I can’t get back on it:
http://www.electionreturns.state.pa.us/
You have to click on the county & there are 9 counties in the gerrymanded district with Westmoreland in about the center.
I think Rendell is personally counting the votes now. The state site went down.
We know that we really don’t like Specter. We know that we want him to lose.
We don’t know who would be stronger against Toomey.
We should be rooting for Specter to lose now.
Plus there is something to be said for getting to watch Specter do the “Dead Man Walking” thing for the next 7 months.
With 23% reporting Sestak AHEAD 51% to Specter 48%!!!!!
Hey, there you go. And I’d add that it’s much worse if Specter wins than the other guy. We don’t really care much either way about random D who is not Specter. Most of us, if not all of us, really dislike Specter, and many of us have disliked Specter for years. We want him gone.
Lived in Altoona for awhile back in the early 90’s. Wife is from East Greenville (between Allentown and Philly), and inlaws still there. We live in WI now and have our own problems with Fakegold and Kookie Kohl. We have a chance to unseat Feingold this year and Specter losing could help build the momentum.
That bodes very well for Sestak as Philly would have most of the early returns.

Looking at the county results, I’m almost positive Sestak will keep his lead and win. Specter cleaned his clock in Philadelphia—expectedly. But look at the other counties—aside from Erie, Sestak is racking up all of them. Even Allegheny (Pittsburgh) The rural counties are going heavy Sestak, and they are the last to report. I can’t imagine Specter can make up any deficit from this point on.
Correction, Specter took Lackawanna. But only by 46 votes! Not enough to make up the deficit.
Hmm...and Sestak is now ahead in Erie. I guess the county totals weren’t final. Forget everything I said. :)
But I still think Sestak will win.
I agree. Specter needs to go NOW. The message to America is important and the Senate needs to be Specterless for the first time in many years.
But I couldn't look my Mom in the eye if I did that.
Would someone please do it for me?
Ha ha...I couldn’t either. Somehow, though, I think tonight will send him that message anyway.
Oh! And now the site is down. Is this when the vote fraud takes over?
I’ll do it for you. I’m Jewish. ;-)
