Sen. Arlen Specter (O-PA) was an Opportunist. He changed his registration decades ago to Republican so he could run in a primary so devoid of competition even he could win. Then when it appeared to be to his advantage to be a Democrat, Shazam — he’s a Democrat. The one thing he couldn’t change with a pen and a form was that he was always a piece of shit, every day, his whole life.
