WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said on Wednesday that he wanted to see Europe "follow through" with its rescue package aimed at stemming the spread of the Greek debt crisis.

Geithner, speaking to CNBC Television in an interview, said: "Absolutely Europe has the capacity to manage through this. We just want to see them follow through."

....no loans(bailouts)to Europe...we've been doing this since World War One and they NEVER repay them!...besides, we're broke ourselves...what on earth is that fool Geithner thinking?

Britain repaid every cent of its wartime loans, including interest. But yeah, the rest of Europe are pikers.

What does “follow through” mean? To Geithner, it means give them money and then ignore them until the next crisis. It certainly doesn't mean forcing them to cut spending and to live within their means. This is a prime example of the insanity of our political “leaders”. They are so caught up in old thinking and establishment ways of doing things that they don't stop and think that the only answer is to force Greece to stand on its own. Let them go bankrupt. Let the banks lose their money or, if we need a bailout to stop the World from falling into a Depression (which I doubt), then enact a law that prohibits any US bank from lending to Greece. The whole system is an interconnected Ponzi scheme and there aren't that many suckers (read: taxpayers) left to fund it.

They're desperate to save their lifelong socialist agenda. It's effects are front and center in Europe but they can't or don't want to change. It's like asking them to change their religion. They're not going to do it, they have to be defeated.
