John McCain gets serious about primary (McCain fights J.D. harder than he fought Obama)

Arizona Republicans say GOP Sen. John McCain’s recent staff shake-up is an acknowledgment of the seriousness of his Aug. 24 primary challenge — a contest in which he remains a clear — but nervous — front-runner.

While recent polls have shown McCain with a double-digit lead over former Rep. J.D. Hayworth, in an election year in which one Senate incumbent has already been taken down and several others are facing stiff primary opposition, the departure of two top campaign officials — campaign manager Shiree Verdone and deputy manager Mike Hellon — is being viewed as proof that McCain recognizes that he faces the most serious threat of his 30-year Senate career.

McCain & his family are so obviously LIBERAL, that it really makes one wonder IF Johnnie has ties to groups and/or agencies who have the capability to blackmail those who may harm and/or hinder Johnnie's senatorial career.

I don't trust him, and I find it strange to hear that he is seriously campaigning -- as it was obvious that he wasn't interested in the presidency.

WHY is this RICH man who married a Massive Fortune so interested in returning to D.C.?????

What an odd ball.

Anyone else notice that his cute little daughter Meggans hasn't been heard from in MONTHS?

LOL

When is her next appearance on The View??

Nothing new. He has always fought conservatives harder than liberals.

the momentum in the last weeks will tell the tail

The latest Tiger Woods story is over ----------> there. Not that McCain is any cleaner in that regard.

“McCain was recently on Sean Hannity’s show. Why does Hannity give so much publicity to someone who viscerally hates everything in which he believes?”

Because Vannity is not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

The fact that he betrayed his wife when she was ill and married the mistress

Is there a story I missed? The one I heard was far, far worse. His beauty pageant wife had an auto accident while he was a POW and faithfully awaiting his return. She was disfigured. When McCain got released and returned he saw what his wife looked like and dumped her.

There are worse things in my book than having mistresses and a dump under those circumstances is certainly one of them.

(McCain fights J.D. harder than he fought Obama)

Ummmm ..... rabscuttle ..... When was the first and the last time that you have EVER fought Obama?

EVER?

Even when Sarah Palin was on the Republican ticket, your obsession with hating McCain drove you to do everything you could possibly do to trash the Republican ticket and get Far Left-wing Obama elected President of the United States.

Now that America is about to have a radical socialist as a Supreme Court Justice interpreting the U.S. Constitution through a Marxist lens for the next 25 years, socialists around the world can thank Useful Idiots like you for you help in making that possible.

What percentage does McCain leads by today? Does JD have a good chance to win from this Rino

If McCain had a comfortable lead it would be trumpeted far and wide.

The first step in recovery is admitting you had a problem. Congratulations, and never trust any of them. Ever.

McCain’s RINO and RINOette supporters are out stumping to deceive the voters one more time.

She got the family order to stay quiet while daddy was trying to fool the conservatives into thinking he was suddenly on their side (after a whole career of being a border-hating RINO).

We’re on to you, McVain.

your obsession with hating McCain

Of course I despise kneepad RINOs like McCain and Graham and their bottom-feeding, boot-licking groin leeches and apologists.

and get Far Left-wing Obama elected President of the United States.

*I* didn't convince McCain to support the bailouts.

Good analysis, but I noted that GWB always railed against some of his own Republicans, like Tom Feeney of FL, while “reaching out” to his opposition.

Yeah, I can hardly stand to listen to him anymore.

Me too. I quit watching him about a year ago. He's 'way too full of himself.

Luckily, Cavuto is on Fox Business at 9:00 PM opposite him. Neil has a much better program.

Don’t you think that the big problem is that the Republican primary voters of AZ are especially uninformed and just “think” McPain is “conservative”?
