A US schoolgirl has challenged First Lady Michelle Obama during a visit to a primary school near Washington.
The girl said her mother - who she revealed was an undocumented migrant - said Barack Obama was "taking everybody away that doesn't have some papers".
Mrs Obama said work should be done to ensure immigrants had proper papers.
The US First Lady was at the school with the wife of Mexican President Felipe Calderon, whose US visit has been dominated by immigration issues.
The exchange occurred when Mrs Obama and her counterpart Margarita Zavala were visting the school in Silver Spring, Maryland.
After being challenged by the unidentified girl, Mrs Obama said: "That's something that we have to work on, to make sure that people can be here with the right kind of papers."
The girl then said "but my mum doesn't have papers". The First Lady replied: "We have to fix that. And everybody's got to work together in Congress to make sure that that happens."

Yeah, I thought she did pretty good under the circumstances. It's kind of a non-answer that both pro-illegal people and anti-illegal people can read their own way. When you're in a venue where you're not supposed to be making policy pronouncements that's about the best you can do.

Of course her mum won’t be deported, they won’t even deport Obama’s aunt, or crimmigrant i.d. thieves, drug runners, murderers, rapists, pedophiles...
The PROPER answer is:
“Sorry to hear that. What is you Mommy’s full name? (punching a number on cell phone) Hello, ICE? shelly ‘bamer here — I have someone you need to pick up at — hon, what is your address?...”

Pleasantly surprised that Michelle Obama defended the rule of law. Her husband would surely have spoken about how rotten the country is for allowing this injustice.
Little girl and mommy need to go home, IMHO.
It should be obvious to us all. The fact that the MEDIA claims this is an ‘unidentified girl’ should be resolute proof that it is all a setup.
Further proof is that the question ‘somehow’ leads to Michelle’s brilliant answer.
Plant, pure and simple.
Had it been as the media tries to portray it, (a hard question for Michelle to answer), you would never have known about it as the girl would have been yanked out by the SS.
US schoolgirl. The Libs might say she’s an American and the modern interpretation of the 14th Amendment, which should have conveyed citizenship to former slaves and nothing else, might say she’s a US schoolgirl but she’s not. She’s an illegal alien born of illegal alien parents being educated in America and enjoying American freedom and liberty.
It was the best answer money and hours of tailoring by her staff could produce.
Michelle was too dumb to understand the question.
