THERE are many theories for why very conservative Republicans seem to be doing so well lately, taking their party’s Senate nominations in Florida, Kentucky and Utah, and beating Democrats head-to-head in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virginia. Some attribute this to a generalized anti-incumbent mood. Others say it reflects the tendency of parties in power to falter in midterm elections. Recently it has been fashionable to ascribe right-wing success to the Tea Party movement.
But the most obvious explanation is the one that’s been conspicuously absent from the gusher of analysis. Republican success in 2010 can be boiled down to two words: Rush Limbaugh.

I was pondering this editorial . . . and I must admit there is a lot of truth in it. While most of us were in a corner sucking our thumbs and clutching our favorite bankies in January of 2009 (immaculation day) - Rush was defiant in saying he hoped Obama would fail. That took a lot of guts at a time when we were all expected to give in and allow the Obama/Pelosi Express to roll over us.
Wish Rush would think about political office.
Rush reflects how pissed America is at the Left because greater numbers of people are becoming aware of how the Left is rushing to national suicide by following the example the UK is setting. Rush simply gives that a voice.

Rush is fulfilling his destiny. He can do the most good from his perch behind the EIB golden microphone.

You think the Left was pissed at Palin for running? Just wait and see what happens if Rush ever decides to run.
The Left was able to talk about assassinating Bush openly and get away with it. They went berserk on Palin worse than any other politician in modern history when she ran.
Rush? They’d not only try the character assassination route but they would get violent on him and his followers in more ways than one if he ran.
Thank you Rush. You helped impose the quarantine that kept the pox solely in the dim camp. Obama has been citing the actions (what we view as failures) of Bush as arguments in favor of what he's doing (e.g. TARP). If there had been any more buy in to the Marxist's agenda, we would have been hearing more of the same with the line blurring that there ever was any alternative.
He can accomplish more as a free agent - we need him where he is - without his voice out there - we'd be a lot worse off.

Chafets is a spirited political polemicist. A strong supporter of Israel, he has been a vocal critic of Arab dictatorships, Islamic radicalism, extremist groups such as Hizbollah and Hamas, and what he perceives as a pro-Palestinian bias in academia and the media. He is also well-known for his opposition to the role of religious political parties in Israel.

Pay cut? I don’t think he would mind - it’s all about his country. IIRC, he said as much.
While I agree, it’s time for action and less talk. And he’s the one to get ANY job done.
His destiny doesn’t have to stop at the golden mike - it could be taken as a way of everyone getting to know him, learn from him and see he does have more talent than most with one hand tied behind his back.

That’s because she not currently running for office. When she decides to go for it just watch the Leftards go into hysterics again. If she runs for POTUS what little if any slack the Left gave her before they won’t allow again.

Agree. While I’m not so sure SARAH will run, do you think voters are swayed by the msm any more? Barry would be mince meat with only one debate with her and they all know that.
Remember her book tour - the people who went and camped out were really saying - we hear you and not the msm.
