Fox: Dems have unearthed video of Rand Paul condemning the 1965 Civil Rights Act
Fox Special Alert | 5/20/10

If true, he's a gonner. If not, the Libs still get to smear him. Folks, there's not gonna be any Repub capture of the Congress this year. Obama's gangsters are just warming up with the estimated $ 600M slush fund they have for November.

Kentucky is 92% white and I’m sure slinging the racist card there doesn’t work.

I think it was an interview on MSNBC with Madcow or whatever her name is.

“He doesn’t seem old enough to have a tape from 1965 condemning the civil rights law . . . what was he about 8 years old then.”

He could have made the comments yesterday about a 1965 law.

It didn’t have to be in 1965.

Perception is reality. He who owns the media dictates the beliefs of the gullible masses.

Here's some new info.

His original quote was kind of clumsy but I understood what he said. Basically, while all conservatives are against discrimination, a private business should be able to deny service to anyone for any reason, or else it's not a private business but a government-run business.

There was no "Civil Rights Act of 1965".

Sen Byrd filibustered the 1964 Civil Rights Act, so he must have thought it was illegal as well. And what happened to Sen Byrd?

Fox (News Corp) has Saudi ownership. Supposedly 5 to 10% but probably a lot more. Murdoch probably ha a line of credit of $10 billion from the Saudis as long as he follows the ISlamification script. He did in the UK.

I guess Fox is now totally in bed with the Lib Media.

Here's the thing. Fox hates the Pauls. They mocked father Ron Paul back during the presidential debates and tried to exclude him from the NH debate. Fox doesn't like the Pauls' brand of traditional, old-right conservatism. So it's no surprise to see them dumping on Rand.

I’m not sure that this will get much traction. Blacks are already against anyone with an “R”. Repeating the “macaca” moment?

Give this man a cigar. THAT my friends is the whole ball of wax. Until we get the TRUTH out, the majority of Americans will still believe Obama’s horseshit .

Yeah, I saw that, too. It was clumsy, though.

Unfortunately, it's going to sting a little; hopefully, they are already prepared to douse this fire. Whatever Freepers think, this won't get brushed-away by everyone. It will matter to some, and not JUST Liberals.

The public pays $50 to 100 a month for cable/sat TV to become slaves and to be controlled. Islamic serfdom awaits.

Give me a break. This individual is one candidate for Senate in KY. It has nothing to do with retaking the House, even if his campaign did implode.

He will be in trouble only if he goes on a George Allen grovelling apology tour.

Well, his biggest mistake was going on Maddow’s show. One thing about the Pauls is that they don’t understand how liberally biased the news media is. One FReeper suggested that Rand should avoid national media and just field questions from state and local affiliates.

According to your “new info” link, he’s waffling now and admits to going on Maddow show as a mistake. My God, when will we get some candidates that have some brains!? WHY GO ON MADDOW? CATER TO KENTUCKY! THAT’S WHO YOU REPRESENT!
