I went through the immigration process and saw a ICE guy.
I told him that I knew of several pubs and restaurants hiring illegals in Boston as I had to work up there sadly.
To my amazement he told me that they do not go after people lie that only the ones who break the law .
I told him that they are breaking the law as an immigrant I know that full well
He then said before he walked away, “ well it’s people like drug smugglers we go after and big times criminals
I stood there with my wife and said why the hell did I just pay over two grand, go back to my country of birth a couple of times to do paper work and do these interviews etc.
what a complete sham all of this is and why the hell are people like me following he law when others get rewarded fro breaking it

Nevada County, California has caught their fair share of illegals who got into other kids of trouble.
They were in the county jail serving their time for local transgressions. ICE was called to pick them up/take them at end of their sentence.
ICE does not have anything except automated calling services. They never called the Nevada County Sheriff back, despite several calls to ICE.
Illegal got turned loose after being in jail for 30/60 days, etc.
Someone should tell the feds ILLEGAL means they are breaking the law.. what the hell
maybe we all changed our withholding saying we have 20 dependents the loss of the “advance” money coming in might shock them into actually doing their job
