Prayers for these people and their families.
Was in India about 5 years ago, and the people were very kind and the scenery was amazing.

Tabletop runway, on hilly terrain.

Just saw raw footage from Fox. Hard to watch. A rescue worker was carrying away what appeared to be a small child that looked like a rag doll.
Prayers for all.
Fox saying reports are that the plane overshot the runway.

How many planes have come down recently?
Why?
We speculate, but who is really in control?
Is scripture worth considering?
I think it is.

You cannot rule out terrorism in a case like this, folks, considering the cells in Muslim Dubai, and also the standing threat from Islamofascists to hit India and hit India hard. THere has been a lot of chatter on how they want to hit airliners around the world, and yes, attempts have been made recently. Shazhad, the Times Square bomber, himself was heading directly to Dubai after leaving the van packed with the bombing contents.

Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Remember that there are about 25,000,000 Christians in India. Chances are, there were around 10-20 Christians on that airplane. (especially considering it's near both Goa and Kerala, which are both about 1/4 Christian)
Just sayin'

I did not say scripture is not worth reading. What I did want was a a direct tie in, link, prophesy or whatever, to this 22 May 2010 Indian crash from that Old Testament passage, in historic and academic context. Bible quotes can be attached to all kinds of phenomenon, but what is the contextual justification.

(especially considering it's near both Goa and Kerala, which are both about 1/4 Christian) According to tradition the Indian subcontinent was first evangelied by the Apostle Thomas, who is believed to be buried in that land.

Word has it that the Portuguese, when they initially landed in India on a missionary trip, did not know what to make of these people who had been Christian longer than the Portuguese people had been.

All I can say is, none of us will ever get any specifics about realtime events.Consider Hitler .. if there was ever an anti Christ figure, it was him ... but he wasn't the Anti Christ.
I was born in '48 so I was not around then, but I've read a few sermons from that time and the fear was there that at that time, that place, that man .. this was the end.
I can't give you any specifics, except God allows things to happen .. to both good and bad ... I believe it's to wake us up and look at Him and listen.

Overshooting the runway is not really indicative of terrorism. Crashes typically happen on takeoff or landing.

no argument here..... seemingly, it is a tough airport apparantly (up on a plateau)...go over the side and that’s the end of things.

How many planes have come down recently?A lot less than did in previous decades. A LOT less.
Why?
Because flying is complex and somewhat dangerous.
Is scripture worth considering?
In terms of our relationships with God? Certainly. In terms of how we react to death and suffering? Of course. But I'm not sure that's what you mean.

Islam is certainly a beast/multitude/hoard.
The greek symbol for 666 looks remarkably like the arabic symbol for satanallah's islam. It even has the "crossed swords" below.

Is there more to substantiate the second part of that sentence besides the first part of the sentence?

Wow. Good job. People die in an air crash, and all you can say is, “they had it coming to ‘em”.
Excellent.
