No, America isn’t the anchor. God is. Where the love of the Lord is, there is liberty - even if it is in the grip of a tyrant.
As to globalism, true, either way, America is changed greatly- or at least her form of government is. With Obama, the country may well end up dead from some foreign power’s destructiveness. And he wouldn’t care. Under Bush, the people, on the other hand, would be sadder but wiser and somewhere someone would exist that would likely pass freedom’s story on to others - the time that once was but could rise again seeing that it stems from the God of resurrections. The motives of the two (while severely misguided and malevolent) were completely different. I can not hate President Bush and prayed for him from before his election. I pray for Obama too, but it is harder because I see him as a man bent on destroying any remnant of America that remains.
God is the anchor of faith. He has used America as a political anchor for freedom in this world.
As to Bush, he and his father are of the duped, the “Star Trek” version of globalism. Those that have more ruthless desires use people such as that and eventually get their way. God set up nationalism at the Tower of Babel. Break that down, even with “good intentions” and American sovereignties are sold out to tyranny.
