Rand is showing the way. If EVERY Republican dared Obama to come to his/her state/district to stand with the Democrats running this year we would clean up. Some will but alas the cowards won’t. If Toomey does this he blows Sestak away.

Demonstrating a core Rush principle. Don’t accept any of the left’s premises. Once we accept their premises we’re playing with a 2 touchdown deficit. Question each and every one of their premises. Works for me.

It is nice to see a Republican with some spine. We need A LOT MORE R’s with spines pushing back, instead of the idiot gentleman enabling country club blue-bloods we currently have running the GOP.

Bad boy. Rand is not going to get invited to the black tie parties if he keeps this up!

I can’t STAND to look at or listen to Step-on-all-of-us, but I made a rare exception in this case, to watch him get b*slapped. It was worth it, but that’s my quota for the year.

Grow a spine, you yellow backed Republicans. This is the attitude we need from you cowards.

I would not want a libertarian legislature, but having a dozen or more in there to shake the tree is a good thing. They can ask questions and broach topics the mainstream Republicans never would. It gets the discussion going. So while I am not libertarian and don’t want such governance, I hope we get a lot more people like Rand to put pressure on the GOP to reduce the size of government and keep these topics going in the public discussion.

EXACTLY! Libertarians keep people on their toes and take nothing for granted. They push and stimulate in the right direction. Such as Ron Paul wanting an audit of the Federal Reserve and he got quite a few Reps signing on with him. But rule by libertarians would never work. Too isolationist. You just can't wish the world's problems away. They will impact you even if you ignore them

Rand Paul said some dumb things about the BP spill today. He better be careful. I would vote for him over any Democrat.

And then runs away from David Gregory and Meet the Press.

What does Rand Paul say about that? I have seen several clips of him and he doesn't look like he is inclined to run from anything.

Watched the interview and did not hear anything dumb about what he said. I thought it was very measured. He did not give BP a pass, he merely took exception to BO's grandstanding boot-to-the-throat treatment of BP.

I did not see the interview so perhaps Rand Paul is being misrepresented? No surprise.
