Of course. And it ultimately did, as it almost always ultimately does. Science admits mistakes and apologizes for them. In cases where the research is deliberately fudged, it may take a bit longer than we would like because it is not as transparent.
Of course i know what you aim here is, and it’s a cute tactic, but it’s not serving you well.
My aim is that scientists nor their methods are not gods like some of them seem to think themselves as, and that gets proven every day.
They can “mandate” all damn day for all I care.
Under NO circumstances will anyone inject this crap into my or my Families bodies...no freakin’ way!

sorry. to clarify: There was never a link b/w autism and MMR vaccines. As with anything in life, there are risks involved, however.
