ARIZONA RESIDENT MUST FORCE DEPARTMENTS OF STATE AND HOMELAND SECURITY TO ABIDE BY JUDGE’S ORDER TO RELEASE INFORMATION
According to the Department of Justice’s FOIA page, it “generally is required under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to disclose records requested in writing by any person.” The website has a link to a report dated March 15, 2010 from the “Chief FOIA officer” who pledged a commitment “to make this the most open Administration in history.” The report asserts that 5% more FOIA requests have been fulfilled during fiscal year 2009 over 2008 and that denials of information were reduced by 4%. In early 2009, faux Attorney General Eric Holder had issued a memo stating that “The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. § 552, reflects our nation’s fundamental commitment to open government.”
However, the results of Holder’s change in policy from the previous administration has not yielded clear results, as even the left-leaning Salon.com states in an article dated April 7, 2010. Another article states that little improvement in meeting FOIA requests has been made in the last year and that the Obama regime has actually become more secretive than its predecessor. In February 2009, Arizona resident Kenneth L. Allen initiated a request through the Freedom of Information Act for the travel and passport records of Stanley Ann Dunham/Obama/Soetoro, Lolo Soetoro and Barack Obama aka Barry Soetoro. The FOIA request he sent is as follows:

The judge denied access to Obama’s records, however, he said the government should release his mother’s Stanley Ann’s records.
The plaintiff filed a ‘Motion to Compel’ for the Obama Administration to follow the orders of the judge. As predictable, as the sun rises in the East, they have refused to do so.
Interesting indeed.
AZ appears to be the only state trying to save America and stop Obama from destroying us.
People in other states should go down this path. Maybe files cases in AZ.

I don’t really get this. The request includes:
“Barry Soetoro’s medical records and those of his mother from January 1, 1961, through the present day.”
Most of the other records are “non-controversial” administrative records where there should be no legitimate privacy concerns. Medical records, however, are quite another matter. It makes no sense that a judge would authorize an open-ended release of Ann’s medical records. The only “legitimate” medical records (from the standpoint of a there being a public policy interest in their release) would be those surrounding her delivery of BHO. And even those might well be off limits if their only purpose is to prove where BHO was born and there are other non-medical records that could establish this same information. Medical records related to the birth of his sister or any other medical problems she had throughout life really are no one else’s business.
It seems that by making the requested FOIA release unnecessarily broad, this individual has unnecessarily delayed the release of legitimate documents etc. That said, it will be extremely interesting to see how this plays out.
