It should not be shoot to kill, or shoot to wound. It should be shoot to stop the action or the threat. Center mass can be taught easily and learned and committed to almost instinct. Annie Oakley, indeed, would have to be the range instructor.

Ya know... shooting to wound is considered taboo in hunting. The least humane way to dispatch prey is to wound. There are no animals in the entire catalog of species that simply “wound” for no reason. Humanity is taking one step after another into territory that got our ancient ancestors killed. Why do you think we never hear about the great hunter gatherers of Australopithicus Obamanuts?
