I never suggested the spuriousness of your statement had anything to do with your flair for the dramatic; Do you know what an ad hominem fallacy is? Implying that all pit bull owners have small penises, or deal drugs, or don’t care about children in pain. Those are ad hominem attacks.

Side note: I see you are literate. That is enjoyable about your posts.

Add “histrionic” to your list. It was a word you supplied in your earlier post.

Side note: Why, thank you! It’s always nice to speak with thoughtful individuals, even if they disagree with me. :-)

I think histrionic is a pretty accurate description of the post in question; Stating that one has been ‘mauled’ is bound to evoke a pretty emotional response, and a cry for healing even more. If not meant literally, it seems calculated to draw sympathetic responses, especially in the context of a dog attack.

You assign way too much to a passing comment. However, that could beg the question, if just a passing comment why not just let it pass? The answer of course is that it is FR chit chat.

And now that I think of it, were you eavesdropping on my conversation with another FReeper? LOL.

And really, what else is there to do on Thursday night?

Nope. No stalking here.
