FLORENCE - Francis Marion University is offering a limited number of free tickets to the public for a debate featuring the Republican candidates for governor on Tuesday, June 1.
The debate, which will be broadcast live on WBTW News 13 is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Chapman Auditorium on the FMU campus.
Republican hopefuls Gresham Barrett, Andre Bauer, Nikki Haley and Henry McMaster will take part in the event that will center on job creation and developing long-term economic growth in South Carolina.
News 13s Bob Juback will moderate the debate, which will feature a panel of journalists.
Inquiries about tickets should be directed to the FMU Office of Public and Community Affairs at (843) 661-1225 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday - Thursday and between 8 a.m. -12 p.m. Friday.
