- Ground penetrating radar.
- The Russian soldiers of WWII came home with all kinds of ordnance. They buried their guns. There was even a widely circulating joke that 'Grampa loved to pour oil on his garden', implying firearms buried beneath. You can see where buried guns got them: Another 50 years of oppressive communism.
