Radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh is set to marry his longtime girlfriend, Kathryn Rogers, next week in an intimate ceremony at his beachfront home in Palm Beach, Fla.
Limbaugh, 59, met 33-year-old Rogers, a direct descendant of Founding Father John Adams, in 2004 when she ran a golf tournament/charity fundraiser and Limbaugh was a celebrity guest, Jose Lambiet reports in his column in the Palm Beach Post.
At the time, Limbaugh was getting divorced from third wife Marta. That split was finalized later that year, and Limbaugh and Rogers were an item by the summer of 2007.

Without trying to be overly crude, it looks like Limbaugh traded the lemons in his life for a couple of melons....

yes. people are so judgmental on this. how dull to marry and hang with someone of the same age all the time whether it is marriage or friendships. Life is full of people of all ages. some stick. some don’t.

Agreed that it’s pretty pathological. If that’s the reason, he waited too long and shouldn’t be buying himself a brood mare.

And the joy in his voice when he talks about them is clear. Rush has grown up.
A child of his own would round this man out immensely.

I can understand wanting to have kids, but don’t you think he would have done it already if he wanted to? It seems to me that this is more of a trophy wife situation. Don’t get me wrong it’s Rush’s decision and in the end we have no business telling him what to do or who to date. But, if Rush were to ask me what I thought about his recent move I would tell him, “I wish you the best, but marriage really isn’t for you.”
In a restaurant last night with my 3 1/2 year old son. May-December couple walks in and my son asks very loudly “Is he her daddy?” The man (who is about my age) glowered at me, My wife and I laughed at him, and the girlfriend put her head down and went to their table. It was too funny.
He’s a man and she’s beautiful. I guess the ‘lech’(sp?) is just nature doing it’s thing. ;)
Why?
People get way to hung up on age. Ask her out. See if you have things in common. Maybe she is too young for you. Or you may be too young for her.

oh yeah. That is a given and Rush is a conservative man, and conservative men just seem to naturally exude, well, manliness. Hee hee....my hubby is a prime example. Gotta love a conservative man. They appreciate and know exactly how to treat a good woman.

I dunno. When a person has hundreds of millions of dollars it must be VERY hard, at some point, to separate the wheat from the shaft. Whatever. LOL!
Life would be terrible if we had to be measured by all our past mistakes, and never were able to change our lives for the better. Who are we to make judgements about what is in Rush's heart? or his fiancee's?
I'm on the side of "hope springs eternal", and just because there's this age difference doesn't mean they're only marrying for sex, money, and/or heirs...LOL! BTW, has she been married before?
I wish them many years of wedded bliss, and to the negative nabobs, I hope you may reconsider your curmudgeonliness, since I have no idea what you're talking about...
