I've written and produced video about the liberal whitewashing of black history for years, as has the Reverend Wayne Perryman, as has Frances Rice, as has Larry Edler, as has David Barton of Wallbuilders for even providing physical documentation, as well as many others. I've also said someone in the mainstream media would 'reveal' this revised history to the nation and act as if he or she discovered it.
Despite the truth being out there for years, its probably not going to explode until some big shot news anchor gives us an explosive expose bringing us all those facts first, so he/she can proudly receive a PulitzerEnter Glenn Beck.

It was a great show. As always we have a fair collection of names and links on yesterday’s TV thread for those interested in digging deeper.

Thank God he did it.....don’t worry about “credit” be thankful that everyone one is now learning about this important history of this great country...
I certainly din not get the impression that Beck treated this information as “Breaking News”. He presented as it is, which is “hidden news”. If he wanted to take all of the credit he would not have had his two expert guests on. It is amazing how Parks critizes Beck instead of showing his appreciation in joining in the fight. Nothing more than jealousy.
BS. Beck doesn't claim he 'discovered' the history of the communist "Black Liberation" movement. But he is the one FINALLY getting it out to a large audience in some level of detail (Hannity still understands very little about it). My only regret is that he misses so many opportunities to link it even more to Obama, Wright, the Weather Underground, Communist Cuba and Obama friend and associate Bill Ayers.
"Black theology will accept only the love of God which participates in the destruction of the white enemy. What we need is the divine love as expressed in Black Power, which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal".--James (Jim) Cone,
African American Religious Thought: An Anthology (Paperback)
by Cornel West (Editor), Eddie S. Glaude Jr. (Editor)
SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"
WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.
HANNITY: But I'm a reverend
WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obamas pastor in a heated interview about his Churchs teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...
Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004
In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.
The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

"they [the Weather Underground] employed revolutionary jargon, advocated armed struggle and black liberation and began bombing buildings, taking responsibility for at least 20 attacks. Estimates of their number ranged at times from several dozen to several hundred."

Jealousy?
Tell you what, when you write columns and are subjected to the racist liberal backlash as has the many others who have commented on this subject for years, then you can call it jealousy.
Choose a subject, lather, rinse, repeat as above.
Beck openly admits he’s still new on the subject of black radicalism and the communist left.
I’m not sure what that means.
My brother has spoken about it (communist-revolutionary "Black Liberation") on the radio for decades and is pissed at Hannity for acting like HE discovered it. Meanwhile, Hannity STILL knows practically nothing about it. The dumb*ss rarely even referred to the Weather Underground as being communist revolutionaries. The only time I heard him do it, and I listen a LOT to his programs, is when he was quoting something Ayers himself said.
Was a great and enlightening show.
Having Mr. Barton on was a great invite. He gave me permission to post his documentary online. But Perryman sued the Democrat Party for their crimes against blacks, Shelby Steele’s been talking about revisionist history for years, and despite academia being the primary culprit for revising history, Beck had on a professor.
You have GOT to be kidding me here. Did you even watch the program? Good God, son.....the man presented information that you won’t see anywhere else on the tube, and you claim that he did it for “credit”?
Get a life. Grow a spine while you’re at it.
There is a lot that Hannity doesn't understand.
Bless his heart, because it is in the right place. However, to me, he is sometimes an embarrassment to the cause.
Every 3rd word is "literally." Every 5th word is "specificity." Worse than the repetition, he uses these words incorrectly. They are window dressing for his shallowly explained points.
I know that he is second in ratings only to Rush L., but I feel that his intellectual backwardness is an overall minus for the conservative movement.
Agree. Beck certainly didn’t try to take credit for revealing this. He is trying to expose the left for deleting it from our history books in the first place to keep the blacks dependent on the government.
Was Parks one of the two guys on his show yesterday? I sure hope not.
Thank you for building the foundation upon which Glen Beck brought to millions of people the truth about Black history in America.
Some of the stories brought tears as I pictured those men of color who so bravely put aside the fear and disgust they must have felt for the slave system to fight for freedom alongside the other patriots.
America is truly a gift from God I think, and this revelation of Black history underlined that most perfectly. It is such a horrible shame what we did in terms of slavery, it is also a horrible shame we we do with the democrat/liberal bigotry of dependence upon government, destruction of families, education, etc. in modern times.
America is a set of ideals which we will always be striving to achieve...perfection is God’s realm, all we can do is strive for excellence.
“Wall Builders”- never heard of them until yesterday’s Beck show, what a great show
