There’s a possible downside of using a nuke: Let’s say that it fractures the geology atop the oil reservoir.

And now we have multiple leaks out of the sea floor.

What’s your next idea to plug the resulting situation?

He is insane and he hates those red states anyway. He’s probably secretly laughing. Wait until FL goes red again, he won’t be laughing then.

"the top kill plug has failed"

But, but, but....How can this be? The One promised in his press conference it was working. You must be lying.

NY

I don’t know how to do it, but I think that the 13000 PSI is not only the problem, but will also be part of the solution. Perhaps some type of expanding cap that gets tigher under pressure..umbrella shaped, etc.

Obama already thinks he’s God, why doesn’t he go there, wave his hands around and make it stop

You are speculating same as me. Why should it fracture? It may be fairly loose sediments. A very small nuke can be used. I would love to see a nuke considered and looked into by experts. But we are too chickenshit. The world's greatest nuclear power is too scared to nuke it because this means using nuclear weapons?  Instead we will get massive pollution and massive economic losses to sectors dependent on the Gulf of Mexico for fishing, shrimp etc

I am talking about using a small nuke 5000 ft down if the rock there is suitable

If a nuke would seal the well safely would be in favor of it?

They graduated from the Obama school of rhetoric. Of course, in fairness, the sentence does make some sort of sense.

Hey it’s ok, BHO is catching some hoops in Chicago.
My chiro, who is going to the Blackhawks playoff game, said some folks she knows thought Obama (after the "hoops") *might* be at the Hawks game tonight. However, this is not confirmed.

Didn’t Obama just fly a mission accomplished banner at his Press Conference?

Interesting idea- the dirt probably wouldn't work, but a shit load of crushed rock and concrete would...
