Don't you hate when people assume the worst of the motivations of others? Especially people who shouldn't be making any social commentary, like Sarah Silverman, comedian and author of "The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption, and Pee."
In her book, Silverman attacks the Tea Party movement and "right-wing Americans," suggesting their efforts aren't for the sake of fiscal responsibility and the fear the country is headed toward an entitlement state, but instead - veiled racism. Silverman, who had her own run-in with Guy Aoki, president of the Media Action Network for Asian Americans, for using the word "chink" in a joke, said his cause, to combat racism against Asians, is more difficult today because of this so-called camouflage.

What is nuts, is why anyone would even think this was a news story.

Silverman's stupid comments about Fox News are beneath contempt and clearly ridiculous. She's using the fact that because President Brack Hussein Obama is governing from a hard-left position and the Fox News channel actually questions his policies and has commentators that oppose him, it's all 'racist'.
This is a childish, ridiculously simplistic conclusion bereft of a scintilla of evidence. It's probably not something this irrelevant 'comedian' really believes but a 'bold' statement that will give her positive attention from her show-biz peers and garner her a tiny bit of media attention.
Frankly, this thread on FR is likely the most publicity Sarah Silverman will receive for her idiotic remark and I almost regret adding to it - but here we are.

Back in 2008, she ran this thing called “The Great Schlep”. It was all about Jewish grandchildren encouraging/nagging/begging their grandparents (Florida residents) to vote for Barack Obama.

There are not many people as creepy as SS. She gives Jews, women and comics a bad name.
