In May “Larry King Live” scored its lowest monthly viewer total in nearly 20 years.
According to Nielsen data, the struggling CNN talk show had an average of 653,000 viewers each night in May, its lowest average since the data started being electronically stored in the early 1990s.
He had been averaging about 700,000 viewers each night this year, down markedly from last year.
Last week The New York Times detailed the low ratings of “Larry King Live,” a symbol of CNN’s struggle to compete in a partisan cable news environment.

The mummified remains of Larry King have a ratings decline.
If it wasn’t for innocent civilians trapped and tortured in airports, CNN would have no ratings at all.
He looks like he has bad breath. Such an unattractive creature shouldn’t be on television. Perhaps as a freak at the circus!
Well, according to the ratings, 653,000 people have nothing better to do than watch Larry King.
Poor souls.
Difficult to say how Larry could have lower ratings. How can anybody stand to watch him?
Red Eye on Fox at 3AM has higher ratings than anyone on the pathetic CNN Prime Time Line-up.

happened to see him interviewing the Dalai Lama, so I stopped to watch.
It reminded of the Cheech and Chong interview with Mr. Rogers.

In the early days of cable some local systems used to just point a camera at a tropical fish tank to fill an unused channel. It seemed quite popular. Maybe CNN should consider...
