The fact that you keep speaking of 3,500 years ago demonstrates why it should be under religion. Even your dates are based on faith, not scholarly research.

There have been many more times in history when there were many more parallels to the prophesies. I recommend “A Distant Mirror” by Barbara Tuchman, or “The Siege: The Saga of Israel and Zionism” by Connor Cruise O’Brian. Of course there was also the six-day war, Yom Kippur War, and the ongoing UN war against Israel. 10 dead on a boat does not qualify unless you take it on faith. If you do, fine, but it ain’t breaking news, just another knee-jerk reaction without historical perspective. Put it under religion.
If the reason this is seen as different from the other much greater dangers to Israel is because the USA is perceived as becoming an enemy, please see the USS Liberty incident 1967.
They are based on Rabbinic scholars, the writings, and the archeology. Ezekiel is far from the only one. There were literally HUNDREDS of Jewish Prophets.
Moses’ prophecy to the Jewish people about the End of Days was about 3,200 years ago. That is not based on faith. It is based on his teachings.
You seem to have a hard time understanding that Jews have been writing and preserving scrolls before the rest of the world could even read. We have kept a calendar for 5,770 years.
And, please don’t condescend to tell me about any of the Israeli wars- especially the Yom Kippur War.
Most of my family lives in Israel. My family were, and are, in the IDF. They fought in these wars. They are Sephardim who never left the middle east.
In the Liberty “incident” the US was indeed spying and acting against Israel. That is a fact. But forgive me.... I forgot.... we jews are not permitted to defend ourselves, or survive.....
