Hearst Newspapers is refusing to say whether it will stand by White House veteran reporter Helen Thomas in the wake of conservative outrage over her remarks about Jews leaving Palestine and going back to Europe.

Well, if only Conservatives are outraged--it's official--Liberals are now automatically anti-Semitic.

If a democrat says something like this, or falsely claims to have served in combat, or suggests that a black man might succeed because he doesn’t talk like a Negro, s/he simply “misspoke him/herself” and the matter is dropped.

If a conservative does any of those things, s/he’s in deep doo doo, must resign, is hounded from the lectern and questioned about the incident for as long as s/he remains in public life, after leaving office and postmortem.

I tend to agree with Helen. I don't understand why jews need a special state just form them and why we had to kick the Palestinians off their land and create Israel.

If your going to say that jews lived there before the Palestinians, lets remember that according to ancient myths, Moses and his followers slaughtered their way to the "promised land" killing everyone in sight but kept the little girls for themselves.

Let's also force all white people into stinking rotted starvation camps and give the US back to the Native Americans. The Native Americans migrated to the US occupied areas more than 12,000 years ago predating the jews.

That is the sentiment that demands an answer from Hearst and the WH. The WH needs to disavow itself from any such sentiment. A good move in that regard would be revoking her WH Press credentials.

If somebody uttered something equivalently nonsensical concerning the N word, Al Sharpton, Shiela Jackson, Jackson, Farakhahn, Wright, et ali would be all over this.

Why is this any different? Is the WH playing favorites here?

Start a boycott: let Hearst know that all their advertisers will be contacted and imformed their products will be boycotted, a la the AZ illegal alien legislation boycott.

There’s precedence for this: Glenn Beck’s employer issued a statement of condemnation for Becks hate statements, no?
