Border Patrol agents shoot and injure two suspected illegal immigrants

NEAR SAN MIGUEL, Ariz. - Two suspected illegal immigrants are being treated for gunshot wounds at a Tucson hospital after being shot by Border Patrol Agents early this morning.

It happened on the reservation near San Miguel. Border Patrol tells us at least two agents were forced to fire after being pelted by rocks. At this time, Border Patrol does not think the suspects received life-threatening injuries. No agents were injured.

The FBI is now investigating. No other information is available at this time.

With the way things go these days one wonders the sanity of deciding to be Border Patrol.

While driving south of Tucson a few weeks back, saw lots of Border Patrol action with numerous cars being pulled over. After passing one such pull over, noticed a stopped car on an over pass with its rear door open. Looked like they were filming the Border Patrol. Was going to go back and inform the Border Patrol, but the car pulled away as I drove under the over pass.
