Jim Greer's lawyer says Gov. Crist okayed diversion of GOP funds - LOL

Gov. Charlie Crist personally signed off on his former Republican Party chairman's confidential fundraising role with the state party, according to Jim Greer's attorney, whose allegation contradicts the governor's statement that he "didn't know anything" about the deal now part of a criminal investigation.

State investigators say Greer and the party's former executive director, Delmar W. Johnson III, secretly set up a shell company called Victory Strategies to divert party money and enrich themselves. Greer was charged Wednesday with fraud and money laundering.

But Greer's attorney, Damon Chase, said Saturday that the deal giving them a 10 percent cut of party donations was legal. What's more, Chase said Crist's former right-hand man, now U.S. Sen. George LeMieux, first proposed the idea that they earn a fundraising commission to save the party money and replace the $30,000-a-month contract with fundraiser Meredith O'Rourke.

Crist is up to his eyeballs in this mess. He may have to stop worrying about the Senate, and start worrying about prison.

Maybe Crist might consider a run for an Illinois office, he appears to hold all the right qualifications. There’s an ex-governor’s wing at the prison, too.

Oh it is probably worse than that. Crist was buddies with $1.2 billion Fort lauderdale Ponzi schemer Scott Rothstein.

“Crist is up to his eyeballs in this mess. He may have to stop worrying about the Senate, and start worrying about prison. “

Good.

Here in NC, our previous governor keeps sliding his way towards prison. Hope it sticks.

Great idea!

1/2 cup OR popcorn

2/3 cup melted real butter

Pop popcorn in air popper, slowly drizzle small amounts of melted butter and mixing well with a fork. after all butter is mixed in, sprinkle on salt a little at a time while mixing with a fork until the desired taste is achieved!

Kick back and watch the fools of your choice!

Not surprising that a corrupt creature like Greer, now that he knows he's going down, is more than happy to drag down everyone else he was associated with.

Charlie needs to pick his friends more carefully. But it appears rather late for that advice.

This HAS to be why he has been cuddling up to the Democrats lately. He thinks they will just blow off his corrupt behavior like they do for any other Democrat.

In other words, he is absolutely SENATORIAL material who will fit right in with Washington.

The party is full of those who see the political system only as a route to power and money and won’t let honor and decency get in the way.
