The wire service also quotes the new bride as saying of the couple's 26-year age gap: "I'm sometimes not able to relate to the average person my age

He did it so people will talk about him - then when he comes back he’ll have hours of montages of things the media said about him to play over and over and over and over ad nauseum

I used to be a faithful golfer listener and still tune in from time to time to see what the “topic” is. He was good back in the day, but now he’s monotonic. Capitalism, markets, libs. Sure they are conservative points, but to focus on only those things, especially with the complexities in today’s news, is myopic.

The marriage would provide fodder for a long time. Teams of lamestream media are digging into the new bride’s background, no doubt.

I suppose some folks would jump off a cliff if they knew how many of the great entertainers and artistic creators whom they have enjoyed, idolized and or respected for their work have been gay......including Tchaikovsky, Rudolf Nureyev, Maurice Chevalier, Marlene Dietrich through to Rock Hudson and Liberace.
I think other folks would just enjoy the talents of these artists and don't care one way or the other if they're not in people's faces with their orientation.
I presume Rush feels the same way.

I don’t suppose there are too many conservative gay musicians.

It’s Elton John’s liberalism that is the issue ...
Oh, by the way, welcome to TSN thread.

RE: "Savage. When youre tired of being talked down to by the other shows."
.. and just want to hear the other shows talked down
BTW. Like the lady caller said.. Kathryn Rogers the bride wanted John but either way..
I am not an Savage acolyte. Talk radio should be about America not bashing competitors. IMO. Borrring. Levin does it too. Borring.
BTW I must add this as a comment to no one in particular, AM650 Sacramento, the most technically fouled up radio station I've heard in almost 70 years, is as usual broadcasting two ads at once. I don't bother to try to catch the first five minutes or so of the Don Imus show because AM650 broadcasts ads on top of Imus speaking.
