You knew this crap was coming. The feminization of boys continues apace, and what better way to turn all our young men into sissy boys than to have them brainwashed by two radical feminist lesbians.
Homosexuals current fight is 100% acceptance through destroying the institution of one man, one woman marriage, and stealing that title for themselves.
The VERY NEXT DAY after homosexuals win the “right” to marry, they will demand preference in adoption. This kind of article is part of the start of that effort.
I will fight the homosexuals in every way that I can. They have all the rights they will ever need. No more. I’m done. No marriage for homosexuals and no adoption either.
Percentage-wise it’s known that adopted children do better overall than non-adopted children.
Would be interested in a source for your statement. I know of many adotions that have resulted in badly hurt kids mainly due to wildly unrealistic exectations on the art of the adotive arents. Basically the roblems I have witnessed stem from the way, overly idealized view of raising kids that these dysfunctional adotive arents have. They exect to form a erfect love relationshi with the kid which is never ossible. My sister was one such. Absolutely refused to disciline the child with redictable results. I have seen several other similar cases, as well. I would exect such immature alicants to be screened out and not allowed to adot, but they dont seem to be. Sorry about the rinting. It is intuitive that male and female children need the loving influence of both sexes for parent. Any other belief is insanity.

For years, I’ve been asking homosexual activists to provide evidence their behavior produces increased social and biological fitness in societies where their behavior is “normalized”.
They can’t do it.
Same thing struck me. It is the same thing that causes the experts to over-prescribe docility drugs to little boys.
The bottom line is that unless you have their definitions for "social, school, academic, and total competence", then you really have no idea what they might have actually measured, excluded, included, etc.
The other thing that strikes me is that that child DOES have a male parent someplace. If there is any kind of court-ordered joint custody, with these children spending time with each parent, then, that too undercuts this study.
In terms of actual research that says, "children do best with their own natural parents" it does exist. That fact was the basis of the fed court decision in Nebraska that the government does have an interest in marriage being between male and female.
My guess is that this study is trying to target the underpinnings of that court decision.
Let's see how successful these lesbian raised children are at raising successful families of their own.
You are correct. To correctly weight the study, the control group would have to be all adoptees.

In the first prospective cohort study of its kind, these children were found to have better social, academic, and overall competence and significantly fewer social problems than typical American children, according to Nanette Gartrell, MD, of the University of California, San Francisco, and Henry Bos, PhD, of the University of California, Los Angeles.
“We didn’t expect to find ‘better,’” Gartrell told MedPage Today. “We expected to find ‘as good as.’
Seems like these Dr’s went into this study with a bias.
“What I do know from working with these families in depth, is that these were planned families, and the mothers strongly desired to have children,” she said. “That impacts well-being. They had other [qualities] that go with good outcomes, like love, nurture, and good resources to provide for them .Studies have estimated that 270,313 American children were living in homes headed by same-sex couples in 2005, and twice as many are raised by a single gay or lesbian parent.So to assess that adjustment the researchers enrolled 154 lesbian mothers who conceived through donor insemination in the U.S. National Longitudinal Lesbian Family Study between 1986 and 1992.”Their 78 offspring were interviewed and completed questionnaires when they were 10 and 17 years old. Their parents were interviewed and completed checklists at the same time”.
There is estimated to be around 810,000 children in lesbian and gay families and these Dr”s sampled only 78 children and 154 lesbian adults or .0000893 % of the estimated total. Maybe these parents were hand picked by the Dr”s for the study to cook the study, I don”t trust these people.
“She and Bos found that lesbian mothers rated their 17-year-old children significantly higher in social, academic, and total competence than typical American children, as compared with Achenbach’s normative sample of American youth. They also had significantly fewer social problems, and less rule-breaking, aggressive, and externalizing problem behavior than their age-matched counterparts, the researchers wrote”.
The children and parents rated themselves, maybe self serving over rating themselves and children?
“And the lower levels of externalizing problems may be explained by disciplinary styles, they added. The mothers used verbal limit-setting, and studies have shown they use less corporal punishment and less power assertion than heterosexual fathers”.
Damn fathers we need to get rid of all of them except for sperm collection, because they are the problem you know.

The study was limited in that it was not a random sample, and was not controlled for race, ethnicity, or other demographic factors.

I know nothing about doing scientific studies but this one seems skewed to generate desired results and is rubbish..
