Training for this level of operational integration represents a tremendous commitment from the two Navys.

The only difference in the flight deck jersey color scheme between the two navies is the significance of the color purple; for the U.S. Navy the color indicates the refueling team, for the French, it signifies the presence of the priest. Not so different... When your low on fuel with no land divert available, you'll start praying for a good pass the first time around... :-)

Personally, I wouldn’t make fun of the French or their navy. I think we need all the friends and allies that we can get.
If a Frenchman or woman joins their military, I think we should thank them and give them our support.
There are some tough French military members out there. Please don’t make fun of them. Like I said, we, America, freedom and rational thought and resistance against leftism/socialism need and deserve all the support we can give them.
France especially needs suppport in it’s resistance against Islamofascism and Islamic demographics in Europe.
Just my 2 cents.

I enjoy haranguing the French as much as the next guy, but anyone capable of a clean carrier landing and then completing a complex mechanical maneuver in an unfamiliar environment is OK in my book.
I’m sure that anyone serving in the French military has much in common with those serving in ours.
