My wife has a 2007 Tahoe LTZ. Her heater was disabled last year by the dealer due to fires so why the big announcement now?

We’ll make sure to get our $100!

We had to replace the shocks after only 50K miles...

Sure does make the Obama Administration’s treatment of Toyota look racist, doesn’t it?

Does this mean that Obama will be up in front of a Congressional witch hunt? He is the CEO of GM isn’t he?

Agreed. My next vehicle won’t be a GM or Chrysler.

Same here. I will never buy GM or Chrysler, for as long as I live. Those companies are zombies to me - they're still moving but I consider them dead.

hm.. seems that Government Motors doesn't know how to build a car correctly, imagine that.

This is exactly why I drove right past the GM dealerships last month when I went to buy a new $50,000 SUV from Ford. I am not contributing 1 cent to Obama run Government Motors.

Yeah, but Toyota, now that’s different!

Bwa ha ha ha ha...

I love it when stuff flies up in GM’s face.

I know some folks don’t like it that I’m so negative on a U.S. automotive concern, but I will never support Fascism. When the government entered the picture and bailed out the unions giving them part ownership, that was the end of GM for my family. It’s already dead to us.

I am with you, this is a GREAT day. Anyone that would buy a car from the government is supporting fascism and deserves what they get. It was bad enough to buy from GM when the money went to support a bunch union thugs. Now the money supports union thugs AND big daddy gov.

Seriously, I can't imagine anyone interested in the Tea Party or just general liberty to even consider buying a new car from Government Motors. Might as well contribute money to the DNC or CPUSA.

Will these repairs count as stimulus jobs?

No, it has to be for broken car windows only

Of course they won’t make them do a major redesign, which is needed to fix this problem. Just pay off there customers $100.00 to disable a feature that may have been invaluable to them. The problem with modern GM washer fluid systems is that the fluid ejects from a plastic orifice. Water gets in the opening and freezes so that the fluid can’t get out. And you can not thaw it without putting the whole car in a warm garage because plastic is an insulator and heating the outside of a plastic orifice does not thaw the center unless you heat it for a long long time. You can’t use your fingers like you could in the old days. And you can’t even used a heat gun or a blow dryer because it will damage the plastic before it will thaw inside. If you have no place to put your car inside then you are stuck with no washer until the next day above freezing. And these systems freeze up most of the time in the cold. There should be a law requiring that the ejection orifice be made of metal.

When will the man-child in charge of General Motors, Barack Hussein Obama, be hauled in front of Congress to answer questions??

I hear you. I have a Taurus. Plant was closed in GA shortly after I purchased my Ford 5 years ago. The reopened it in Mexico. I’ve reached the conclusion I’d rather buy a foreign brand built in the US without UAW labor than to buy a UAW product or support foreign workers by purchasing a Mexican made Ford.
